Founded in 1989, Drake's is one of the nation's earliest urban craft breweries.  Drake's is located in the heart of the industrial maze of San Leandro - brewing out of a former Dodge Motor Car assembly plant.

They have some of the most unique brews in the Bay Area and are most well known for their Drake's IPA, Drakonic Imperial Stout, Denogginzer Imperial IPA, and 1500 Pale Ale.  They recently opened a new tap room and often have food trucks by their brewery.

On the tour:

On Golden Gate Brewtours, Drake's is a great place to bring a group of 10 to 25 people and they offer private tours of their brewing facilities.  On the tour you'll be able to taste their year-round beers as well as some of their special seasonal beers.  You'll also have the opportunity to go on a tour of the brewing facilities.
